Heavy rainfall of 6 to 10 inches across parts of Runnels, Coleman, Brown, and San Saba counties caused the Colorado River in San Saba County to climb out of its banks. The river crested near the town of San Saba on the afternoon of the 4th at 35.1 feet, or 5.1 feet above flood stage. Minor flooding was noted, limited mainly to flooding of low lying farm land near the river.
