April 2, 2000 - Event NarrativeA cold front moved into North Texas during the day, before becoming stationary over the southern sections of the area. The cold front provided a focus for thunderstorm development in the evening and nighttime hours. Widespread storms developed between Killeen and Temple, around 530, and moved generally north and eastward. Additional thunderstorms developed generally south of a line from Lampasas to Marlin to Groesbeck to Henderson through midnight.
