A severe thunderstorm tore down numerous tree limbs and branches and several trees throughout Delaware County. PECO Energy reported about 14,000 homes and businesses lost power. The line of severe thunderstorms hit Delaware and Chester Counties the hardest in the PECO Energy service area that evening.
