High winds in Ladd Canyon contributed to the death of a motorist. The vehicle was pulling a trailer, which began to fishtail and later overturned. Ladd Canyon was earlier closed to mobile homes and oversized loads due to the high wind threat.
As the offices recorded each death: direct deaths were caused by the weather itself, indirect ones by something it set in motion.
