The Huron River at Milan exceeded flood stage during the early morning hours of the 8th and crested around 18 feet at 2 pm. The river went below flood stage late in the morning on the 9th. Flooding was confined to the Lagoon Communities from Milan to near Huron resulting in some cottages and homes being completely surrounded by flood waters.
