Heavy thunderstorm rains caused flooding across northern Oneida county. There was also extensive ponding of water on Linden Street and North Madison Street in Rome.

Winds from a thunderstorm caused a tree to split in half and land on a car. The driver and 2 young children travelling in the car all recieved minor injuries.

Thunderstorm winds brought a few trees down on New London Road in Verona and on Wood Creek Road in New London. A tree also was blown onto a house on Route 50 in New London.

Lightning struck a house on Wood Creek Road in New London and started a fire. Damage was confined to the upstairs portion of the house.

Torrential thunderstorm downpours produced flooding in Waterloo, Seneca Falls, and Romulus. Backyards and basements were flooded throughout the region as was Route 98 near Deans Cove.
