A line of severe thunderstorms knocked down tree limbs and wires from Mercer County southwest through Burlington and Camden Counties. The wind damage in Burlington County was mainly confined to the west of the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 295.

A line of severe thunderstorms knocked down tree limbs and wires from Mercer County southwest through Burlington and Camden Counties. The wind damage in Burlington County was mainly confined to the west of the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 295. In Mercer County, the Trenton area was hit the hardest. Nearly half (5,000) of the 11,000 outages in Public Service Electric and Gas' service area in the three county region occurred in Trenton. In Burlington County, several trees were knocked down along Interstate 295 and limbs were knocked down in Mount Laurel. In Camden County, numerous limbs were knocked down in Westmont.
