A severe thunderstorm knocked down between 30 and 50 trees on the northeast side of Parvin Lake within Parvin State Park. Thunderstorms that evening were responsible for power outages to 4,600 homes and businesses in southern New Jersey in Salem, Cumberland, Atlantic, Gloucester and Camden Counties.
