A bolt of lightning struck a two-story house in Sutton, causing a fire which burned the structure to the ground. No one was home at the time, although several cats may have perished in the blaze. Nearby residents reported a build-up of static electricity before one loud clap of thunder was heard, followed shortly thereafter by the fire.
