A severe thunderstorm produced dime sized hail in Swanzey. Another severe thunderstorm moving through Hillsborough County dropped dime size hail in Merrimack, and also produced straight line wind damage in Merrimack and Litchfield.

A severe thunderstorm produced dime sized hail in Swanzey. Another severe thunderstorm moving through Hillsborough County dropped dime size hail in Merrimack, and also produced straight line wind damage in Merrimack and Litchfield. About 5 to 10 trees, up to 2 feet in diameter, were downed. Several branches and power lines were also brought down. Wind speeds were estimated near 70 mph, based upon the damage observed.
