A strong spring storm moved from near Colorado into western Nebraska during the night of March 7th and into the early afternoon of March 8th. Heavy snow occurred across portions of south central Montana. Six inches was reported in Gardiner, 7 inches in Big Timber, 12-14 inches in Red Lodge, 12 inches in Columbus, 14 inches in Nye, 4 inches at the Billings NWS Office, 5 inches in Hardin, 6 inches in Fort Smith, 8 inches in Pryor, and 4 inches in Harlowton.
