Flooding in Missouri, June 20 to 26, 2000
Thunderstorms that moved in from eastern Kansas continued to produce excessive rainfall across west-central and central Missouri. Minor flooding occurred on the Petite Saline near Boonville, and moderate flooding was reported along the South Grand near Urich, Big Creek near Blairstown, and the Blackwater River at Valley City and Blue Lick.

Thunderstorms that moved in from eastern Kansas continued to produce excessive rainfall across west-central and central Missouri. Minor flooding occurred on the Petite Saline near Boonville, and moderate flooding was reported along the South Grand near Urich, Big Creek near Blairstown, and the Blackwater River at Valley City and Blue Lick. The Blackwater crested nearly 6 feet above flood stage at Valley City and Blue Lick. While most of the flooding had ended by the night of the 22nd, the Blackwater near Blue Lick remained in flood until the 26th, partially due to additional heavy rainfall on June 23, and again on June 25.
