Heavy rain caused flash flooding across northeast Jefferson County. Glaize Creek flooded affecting a narrow area north of new Highway M from just west of Antonia to Highway 61-67 at Barnhart. Several businesses flooded, including a couple automobile repair shops. Seven vehicles from the shops were washed away by the flood water. Six people had to be rescued from flooded vehicles. Several county roads and a couple of bridges were damaged by the flood water.
