A late-season winter storm left a band of heavy snow across parts of northeastern Minnesota, roughly from Brainerd to Duluth. Some of the larger amounts were 8.5 inches near Crosby, 9.2 inches at Wright, and 8 inches at the National Weather Service office in Duluth.
