Low pressure tracking through the St. Lawrence River Valley brought mixed precipitation to extreme northern Maine. After several inches of snow...precipitation changed to sleet and freezing rain during the afternoon. Ice accumulations of 1/4 to 1/2 inch were reported across the region. The greatest ice accumulations were reported across the St. John River Valley from Fort Kent...to Madawaska...to St. Francis.
