Heavy rain brought numerous problems to the area just south and southeast of Paintsville. Water was blocking the road on Highway 302 near Van Lear. A tree was washed down onto Highway 40 near Meally, also power lines were down due to trees being washed out. A rock slide was reported on Route 321 just south of Paintsville and blocked one lane until the debris could be cleared.
