Over five inches of rain fell over Butler County during the late night and early morning, resulting in flood waters in many areas of the county. Cane Creek went over four bridges on Cane Creek Road. One family was unable to leave their home because of high water over a bridge, deep enough to cover a sign. Part of a road was washed out in a subdivision north of Poplar Bluff. There was water over several roads, including County Roads 534 and 540. Water was four feet deep over NN Highway in one location.
