An area of thunderstorms moved southeast across the state during the morning hours. These storm were the remnants of a mesoscale convective system that developed over North Dakota, northeast South Dakota, and southwest Minnesota during the previous night.

An area of thunderstorms moved southeast across the state during the morning hours. These storm were the remnants of a mesoscale convective system that developed over North Dakota, northeast South Dakota, and southwest Minnesota during the previous night. As the storms moved over Hardin County, lightning struck a TV antenna on a house north of Hubbard. The house was set on fire and burned down to a shell. It was a total loss.
