Coordinates: 38.088, -88.180 (the zone’s center; the record gives no point)

Water was over several roads in the Carmi area, including U.S. Highway 45. The Wabash Christian Retirement Center was flooded. Water from the outside courtyards ran into the building and through the kitchen, dining room, and lobby. Griffith Lake was overflowing, running across Oak Street and causing problems for vehicles on that road. Several other locations in Carmi were flooded.
