A funnel cloud was spotted near Courtland by a newspaper reporter. It was later spotted near Elburn, St. Charles and Batavia by Skywarn spotters and emergency management personnel. A funnel cloud was also spotted near DuPage Airport in West Chicago by a meteorologist. There was no damage.
