Excessive rainfall on the order of four to six inches in a 12-hour period contributed to localized flooding and closing numerous roads. Flood waters washed out several county roads. Water in homes was reported along Cat Creek. Jerry Jones Road in Valdosta was closed due to a small dam break. Reported by the Lowndes County EMA.
