The Gwinnett Daily Post reported that lightning struck and set on fire an upscale two-story home on the Gwinnett County golf course in Snellville. The house was completely destroyed by the fire. The heat from the fire wilted sections of siding on two neighboring homes. The home was unoccupied at the time of the incident, so no injuries were reported.
