Heavy rainfall of up to six inches in less than three hours caused localized urban flooding of roadways and low-lying areas, mainly west of U.S. Highway 41, from Bonita Springs northwest across Ft. Myers Beach to Sanibel Island. Several vehicles incurred water damage at low-lying flooded intersections from Bonita Springs to Ft. Myers Beach.
