Runoff from heavy rain in northern New England brought the lower reaches of the Connecticut River downstream of Hartford into a minor flood. 24 feet at 915 am on the 12th, which is just over the flood stage of 8 feet.

Runoff from heavy rain in northern New England brought the lower reaches of the Connecticut River downstream of Hartford into a minor flood. At Middletown, the river crested at 8.24 feet at 915 am on the 12th, which is just over the flood stage of 8 feet. Only minor lowland flooding was reported, and no flood damage occurred.
