Strong thunderstorm outflow winds in the east area of Palisade near the Colorado River snapped off 2 to 3 foot diameter tree limbs from 80 foot tall trees. One 6 foot diameter tree was split in half about 30 feet above the ground.

Strong thunderstorm outflow winds in the east area of Palisade near the Colorado River snapped off 2 to 3 foot diameter tree limbs from 80 foot tall trees. One 6 foot diameter tree was split in half about 30 feet above the ground. Half of the tree fell to the ground, damaging a pickup, new boat, and a section of fence. A row of trees in an adjacent area were permanently bent over at a 45 degree angle.
