Heavy rainfall, up to 3 inches, caused flash flooding to occur in the Bobcat burn area, southwest of Fort Collins. Floodwaters washed out sections of the main access road into the area.
Lightning ripped most of the roof off a home in southeast Aurora. The bolt sparked a fire which destroyed the residence.
