A cold front moving through the northwest sections of the Texas panhandle with the dry line located across the extreme western Texas panhandle along with plenty of low level moisture combined to produce scattered severe thunderstorms over the eastern third of the Texas panhandle. The storms produced mainly large hail with some isolated tornadoes.
