Flood in Texas, February 1 to 11, 1999
The Sabine River flooded below Toledo Bend dam, causing dozens of people to evacuate. Between Burkeville and Bon Weir, several communities on the river were completely flooded out.

The Sabine River flooded below Toledo Bend dam, causing dozens of people to evacuate. Between Burkeville and Bon Weir, several communities on the river were completely flooded out. At least 50 homes were damaged. This was the highest flood level since the May and July 1989 flood.
