Lightning strikes caused two fires in Upper Darby Township during the morning of the 24th. Lightning struck a garage and ignited a fire that damaged the vehicle inside. At the same time a lightning strike started another fire on the roof of an apartment building. The roof was heavily damaged, but no injuries occurred with either fire.
