The Poteau River at Poteau rose above its flood stage of 24 feet at 400 PM CDT on June 30. The river crested at a level of 25.6 feet at 900 PM CDT that evening before falling back below flood stage at 600 AM CDT on July 1.The Poteau River at Panama rose above its flood stage of 29 feet at 1100 AM CDT on June 30. The river crested at a level of 36.0 feet at 300 PM CDT on July 1 before falling back below its flood stage at 200 AM CDT on July 3.
