Thunderstorms which formed over portions of central Oklahoma during the afternoon of the 10th, produced severe winds which downed several trees and power lines in Duncan in Stephens County. Lightning also struck a transformer at the Okeene Nursing Center in Okeene in Blaine County, burning an electrical meter and inflicting minor damage to an interior wall, and a 34-year-old man was injured when he was struck by lightning in a field on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond in Oklahoma County.
