Thunderstorms dumped 1.6 inches of rain on the City of Lorain in less than one hour. Over a foot of standing water was reported on many streets and East 28th Street had to be closed for a period of time. Other streets with flooding included Popular, Olive, Oakdale and West 17th.

Thunderstorms dumped up to two inches of rain on Cleveland in less than one hour. Officially for the day, 1.53 inches of rain fell at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Many streets and underpasses were temporarily flooded including Interstate 71 which was under a foot of water near West 25th Street. Other streets that were flooded include Forbes Road, Brookpark Road and Tiederman Road.
