A 60 mph gust was measured in Willoughby and many trees were downed across the county. Four homes suffered minor damage from fallen trees near the Chagrin River in Willoughby. An additional house was damaged in Concord by falling trees.

Several large trees were blown down in and around Gibsonburg and a barn south of town near the intersection of State Route 300 and US 6 had its roof blown off.

Trees and power poles downed throughout the county from thunderstorm winds of 60 to 80 mph. A 55 year old female was killed at Punderson State Park in Newbury Township when a 40 foot tree fell on her camper and crushed it. Twelve other campers in the park were severely damaged. A tree fell on a house in Newbury Township and destroyed the living, family and dining rooms. Dozens of trees were downed in Bainbridge where one house received extensive damage from a fallen tree. Dozens of trees and power poles were also downed in Burton Village and Chardon. A boat was overturned and destroyed in Chardon and several homes were damaged by fallen trees.

Trees and power poles downed across the county with a 60 mph gust measured in Orwell. The library in Orwell lost some its siding and the Orwell Fire Department was damaged when fallen trees poked three 15 inch holes into its roof. Many trees were also downed in and around Jefferson. A large tent was blown down and thrown 200 feet at an outdoor party north of Jefferson. Two women of unknown age standing under the tent were injured slightly.

Trees downed across the county. A mobile home in Garretsville was ripped off of its foundation and blown 45 feet. Thirty trees were blown down on a golf course just north of Kent.

An 81 mph wind gust was measured and trees were downed in Hartville.

Trees and power poles downed across the county. A house under construction to the north of Castalia on State Route 269 was damaged when part of its framing was blown down. A nearby barn also lost its roof. A semi truck crossing a bridge over Lake Erie on State Route 2 between Port Clinton and Sandusky was blown over. Thirty poles along a causeway leading to an amusement park were also knocked over. In Sandusky, approximately 30 percent of the streets in the city had to be closed because of fallen trees. One home in Sandusky was severely damaged when a porch on its top floor was destroyed by a fallen tree. Several other homes and at least ten cars were damaged by fallen trees and limbs in Sandusky. At least 20 trees were downed in and around Vermilion.

Hundreds of trees downed across the county by thunderstorm winds of 60 to 80 mph. A 70 mph gust was measured at Leavittsburg with a 60 mph gust in Mecca. A large tree fell on a van in Champion trapping a mother and her young daughter inside. Both were uninjured. A tree fell on a house on the northwest side of Warren and did major structural damage. At least four other homes were damaged in Warren. One of the homes had some siding blown off, another had its chimney and a fence blown down and a third had a porch destroyed by a fallen tree. Twenty five trees were downed in Howland Township and between 200 and 250 trees were downed at a golf course on the east side of Warren. Additional trees were downed in Hubbard, Southington and Niles.
