Late night thunderstorms erupted over the Las Vegas Valley dumping rainfall amounts of one-half to nearly and inch of rain across mainly the central and eastern sections of the metro area. Water did pool in underpasses and low-lying intersections and made a few roads impassable. The location of the rainfall was favorable for quick runoff into the Flamingo Wash which rose significantly and prompted a precautionary evacuation of the mobile home park near Boulder Highway which was flooded less than a week earlier. No significant damage was reported from the flooding.
