Approximately 1.5 inches of rain fell in the Red Rock Canyon area, just west of Las Vegas, with over an inch of rainfall recorded in a 30 minute period. The resulting runoff flooded roads around the Red Rock scenic loop and forced closures in nearby Calico Basin.
