Flooding along the Missouri River carried over from June and kept the river at Rulo above its flood stage of 17 feet the majority of the time right through 1000 pm cst 7/10/99. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches on the basin on 7/1/99 also added to the high water. The flooding affected mainly agricultural lowlands, and a higher crest was observed in late June, but a crest of 20.5 ft was observed at 830 pm cst on 7/1/99.
