4 to 5 inches of rain fell in 4 days, complicating an already wet summer. Many problems were reported along US Highway 2 near Bemidji. Some basement pumps had to be run continuously to keep basements from filling up. The KOA campground west of Bemidji only had 50 percent of their campsites useable, with the others under water. They had to pump the sewer lines continuously to keep them from backing up. Loggers could not get into the woods to work. Farmers reported cattle dying from disease due to being wet. Lake owners in the Cass Lake area reported high lake levels and shoreline erosion.
