Far southern Michigan avoided the line of severe thunderstorms on the afternoon of the 24th. However, additional thunderstorms developed near Jackson late in the evening. One of these evolved into a supercell as it moved southeast, producing a swath of wind damage from Manchester to the Ohio border, south of Adrian. A number of trees and power lines were downed.
