Total precipitation for the month of April at Logan International Airport in Boston was only 0.83 inch. This broke the record for the least amount of precipitation in April, which was 0.93 inch set in 1892. At Worcester Municipal Airport in Worcester, the monthly precipitation of 0.92 inch was the second driest April on record. The driest April was in 1941, when only 0.85 inch was recorded.
