Lightning Strike in Maine, July 5, 1999
Lightning struck the roof of a home in Peru, blew out windows, broke glass objects, knocked a wall out about 7 inches, then travelled through the home's electrical system where it destroyed electrical wiring and and a variety of phone and electronic equipment. The lightning also singed clothes that were hanging on metal hangers from a metal pipe.

The lightning also singed clothes that were hanging on metal hangers from a metal pipe. The main fuse box in the home and the garage door opener were also destroyed.
