A tornado briefly touched one half mile north of Alliance and just north of the British Petroleum Refinery. The tornado lifted a mobile home off of its foundation and set it back down, blew a cinder block through the wall of another mobile home, destroyed a greenhouse, and blew a shed across Highway 23.
