Snowfall of 2 to 5 inches occurred across southeast Kentucky. The greatest snowfall occurred in a band from Rockcastle and Jackson counties thru Owsley, Clay, Perry, Leslie, Harlan and Letcher counties. The greatest snowfall amounts occurred in Perry and Harlan counties where 5 inches was reported. Temperatures remained below freezing thru December 25th, allowing much of the area to enjoy a white Christmas.
