A two-day rain event on April 13-14 dropped up to 3 inches of rain across parts of eastern Kansas. The resulting runoff caused extensive minor to moderate flooding along several creeks and rivers in far eastern Kansas, including the Missouri at Atchison and Leavenworth, the Kansas River in Kansas City, KS, the Delaware River at Muscotah, Stranger Creek at Easton and Tonganoxie, and the Marais des Cygnes at Osawatomie, La Cygne, and Trading Post. Flooding began on the 15th, and ended between April 17 and 19 in most of the affected locations.
