The warm front mentioned above continued to make slow progress north during the evening. Thunderstorms formed during the early evening hours and continued to intensify as an area of divergence aloft moved toward the area. Many of the storms produced some hail, however most were below several levels. Golf ball size hail pelted Decatur County west of Van Wert as one of the stronger storms moved through.
