Thunderstorms produced heavy rain over ground that was very moist from heavy June rains. The storms tended to regenerate over the same areas, causing estimated rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. Sheriff personnel reported flooding on numerous secondary roads and State Route 64 east of Princeton. Two feet of water was over U.S. Highway 41 just south of Princeton. The heaviest rain fell over central and southern portions of the county.
