Bay County EMA reported straight-line winds downed numerous trees and power lines. A shed was destroyed. Two convenience stores suffered roof damage. Several vehicles and carports were damaged.
Wakulla County EMA reported a large tree fell and split a mobile home in half. Several downed trees and power lines on Bob Miller, Richardson and Grapevine Rds.
A Georgia man and his teenage daughter were struck by lightning while walking along the beach behind the Sugar Sands Motel on Front Beach Rd. The man died from the strike. The girl was treated by EMS personnel and released.
Madison County EMA reported a wood frame house destroyed by fire as a result of a lightning strike.
