Damaging Wind in Florida, April 17, 1999
A severe thunderstorm produced 60 mph wind gusts as it moved east northeastward through Naples. Three construction workers in north Naples were injured when the roof they were working on collapsed.

A severe thunderstorm produced 60 mph wind gusts as it moved east northeastward through Naples. Three construction workers in north Naples were injured when the roof they were working on collapsed. Minor roof damage occurred to a Best Western Motel just east of Kensington, and a screened enclosure in Golden Gate was damaged.
