A wildfire ignited and destroyed a $6,000 dollar speed boat, a $2,500 shed and an additional 17 junk and antique cars along the 300 block of Cory Street, six miles west of Port Charlotte. Over 500 acres of scrub trees and brush were also consumed by the blaze.
