Summary of events for July 1 1999:A solid line of thunderstorms moved south out of Missouri and into far northwest Arkansas on the morning of July 1. At the time that the storms moved into Arkansas, the line was weakening but still had enough strength to produce one marginally severe wind report. The slow movement of the line also caused local runoff problems. The line had weakened further by the time it made it south to Washington and Madison Counties.
