Flash Flooding in Alaska, July 17 to 21, 1999
Frequent rains over the Brooks Range produced rises to bankfull on many rivers draining north toward the Arctic Ocean, as a few rivers Draining on the south side. The Dalton Highway was reported washed out at the Holden Creek Bridge near milepost 363, as well as a washout at milepost 260 between Atigun Pass and Galbraith Lake.
